Love and Logic Parenting Class

Categories: Community,News,Outreach

On Sunday, April 3, Kristi Manley will lead a session on “Behavioral Tips for Wise Parents from Love and Logic.” Love and Logic is a class for parents, grandparents, and anyone who loves kids. The balanced approach of Love and Logic shows adults how to discipline kids without losing their love and respect. Instead of using a punishment or reward system, the focus is placed on nurturing long-term relationships and enforcing good character.

Kristi Manley, our instructor for this course, is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with Lutheran Family Service of Iowa.

Thanks to a Thrivent Action Team, costs of this event are covered. A sack lunch and childcare will be provided. Lunch will be served in the Family Life Center after our 11:00 a.m. worship service (around 12:15) and the presentation will begin at 12:35.

Please sign up for this event by March 31. The first 15 families to sign up with receive a free Love and Logic book. To sign up and for more information, contact Nurse Ronda Anderson at or call the church office at 364-6026.
