Randi Petrik is the Youth Minister at Bethany Lutheran Church. She graduated from Concordia University, Seward, Nebraska with an undergraduate degree in Psychology and a Director of Christian Education (DCE) certification. Randi primarily oversees the high school youth group at Bethany and the public high school next door, and she enjoys being active in fellowship events with the Bethany middle school age group. Also, she partners with Kingdom Quest Sunday School, the Wednesday night children’s ministry and the Bethany Vacation Bible School Program.
Randi and her husband, Dustin, enjoy hanging out with their two children, Devin and Reagan, watching Husker games and reality TV.

Ronda Anderson, RN, is the Bethany Lutheran Church Parish Nurse. Her faith community nursing role includes health education, health resource, visitation, and coordinating volunteers. In her position she promotes whole person health, connecting body, mind and spirit. Ronda is a graduate of Bryan Hospital School of Nursing in Lincoln, Nebraska. She has worked in long-term care and home healthcare. She received her parish nurse training through the Health Ministries Clinical Pastoral Education program sponsored by Iowa Lutheran and St. Luke's Hospitals. Ronda has completed the training to be a program leader of Stanford's Chronic Disease Self-Management Program. She is a member of the Parish Nurse Advisory Board and part of the planning and presenting team for the Basic Preparation Parish Nursing Course, all at Mercy Medical Center, Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
Ronda states, "I have been married to Todd for 31 years and have three grown children, a wonder"phil" son-in-law, and a grandson! I oversee Bethany's prayer ministry, I am the staff person for Small Groups (Connect) and for Mission Team (Share) at Bethany. I am a Stephen Leader in our Stephen Ministry program here at Bethany, sing on a praise team at our contemporary worship service, and am part of a small group Bible study. A transplanted Nebraska Cornhusker fan, I pray with the Linn Mar High School "Moms In Touch" group and cheer for the Linn Mar Lions and the Iowa Hawkeyes. I love vacationing on the shores of Lake Michigan at Camp Arcadia with my family and friends each summer and visiting our grandson and his family in Colorado."

Gregory Riley, Traditional Worship Leader, comes to Bethany as a candidate for the Doctor of Musical Arts program in Organ Performance at the University of Iowa. He earned a Master of Music in Organ Performance from Eastern Michigan University and received the Bachelor of Arts in Music from Principia College. While at Eastern in 2009, he was awarded the Mason/Rigsby Organ Scholarship and made a recipient of the Erich Goldschmidt Endowment Fund. Gregory served as the interim organist at First Presbyterian Church of Granada Hills, in Northridge, California. Prior to that he completed a nine-month tenure as organist/choirmaster of St. Luke’s Episcopal Church in Ypsilanti, Michigan. As Traditional Worship Leader, Gregory is responsible for weekly selection of hymns and other music for worship, leading worshippers at 8:30 worship,
coordinating other traditional worship ensembles, and directing the Adult Choir.

Luke Viertel, Contemporary Worship Leader, comes to Bethany after graduating with a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance from Coe College in 2009. Born and raised a musician, his musical journey has taken him across the globe to Music Ministry in the Cumberland Mountains of Tennessee, and Vienna, Austria during his 5-month study-abroad, concert tours through Costa Rica and Eastern Europe, and many others. He has worked and performed with the Cedar Rapids Opera Theatre, Coe College Theatre Arts, Cedar Rapids Concert Chorale, the Cedar Rapids Symphony Orchestra, The Insitüt für Europaischen Studieren, and many others. He has placed in regional and state singing competitions and is the beneficiary of several academic and scholarly awards. In addition to his stage performance, he maintains a career as a singer/songwriter with a volume of 50-plus original songs that he performs throughout the Midwest and as a session keyboardist for various groups in Eastern Iowa.
Luke resides in Marion, Iowa with his fish and his keyboards!

Risé Stuer is the Director of Early Childhood Programs at Bethany.
This would include 3 and 4 Year Old Preschool and the Mom's Morning Out Program for children 18 months through 4 years. Along with her director duties she is lead teacher for all of the Preschool classes. This will be Rise's seventh year at Bethany overseeing a wonderful staff and program that is in its 28th year of operation.
Risé and her husband, Dave, have two children, Kyle and Samantha. In her spare time she enjoys reading and traveling with her family and friends.
